Continuity checking that reads a script like a script
A screenplay is not prose with different margins. Continuity in a script lives in sluglines and scene order, in who is in the scene, in props and wardrobe and time of day, in what a character can know at minute forty. When you ask for a check, Bunsho reads your script on those terms and each finding cites the two passages that disagree, so you can judge it in seconds.
Checks run when you ask, priced per scene
Nothing runs on save and nothing runs in the background. You ask for a check, the confirm dialog shows the per-scene price first, and only your click spends anything. Writing is never metered.
Fountain import and export
Bring a .fountain screenplay in and it opens as a project you can read, reorganize, edit, and check. Export back to .fountain for Final Draft, Highland, Fade In, or any Fountain-aware tool. Both directions are unmetered on every plan, and your files also sit as plain text on your own disk.

In development: Director Mode for scripts
Bunsho has two sides. The script supervisor side, continuity checking, is live for screenplays today. The other side is Director Mode, where Bunsho drafts under your direction without breaking canon. That side is in active development for screenplays and not shipped yet, and nothing on this page should be read as a promise of a date. When it ships, it will work the way everything in Bunsho works: deliberately, when you ask, with the cost shown first.

Yes. Screenplay checking works on the script's own terms: sluglines, scene order, who is in a scene, props and wardrobe, what a character can know at minute forty. It is not the prose checker squinting at different margins; a screenplay check is scene-aware from the first line.
What does a screenplay check cost?
Checks are priced per scene, and the exact cost appears in the confirm dialog before anything runs. Nothing is ever charged without a click on a button that named its price. Writing, importing, and exporting are never metered, and the editor itself is free.
Why build for screenwriters at all?
Because the script supervisor is a film role. Productions have staffed continuity on every set for a century precisely because a story at scale cannot stay consistent in one head. Screenplays have the same failure modes as novels, a character who knows too much, a prop with two histories, a timeline that does not add up, and the same fix applies.
